Real estate mogul and interior designer Nick Candy is selling his billionaire boat 11.11, custom-built for him by superyacht builders Benetti. When asked why he has decided to sell this amazing vessel, he responded that he is now in the market for something bigger and better!
The 11.11 megayacht is an absolute steal for any super-wealthy prospective new owner. A lot of time and money was invested into the design and fit-out of the vessel, Nick Candy’s first superyacht, and if you have a spare $70.2 million you would be one lucky yacht owner.
The 11.11 is considered to be one of the most beautiful luxury billionaite boats of its class. At 63 meters (260 feet) and built over 3 decks, the megayacht is an Art Deco masterpiece that had the interior designed by Nick Candy himself and was fitted out to his strict specifications by his Candy & Candy firm of interior designers.
Onboard accommodation
The flexible onboard accommodation can be arranged for 14 guests in private mode or 12 guests in charter mode, plus 16 crew. There are six huge staterooms for guests, including a full-beam VIP suite and a master suite on the upper deck.
Each of the three decks has its own outdoor and indoor bar, and the master suite has a private sundeck that holds snug lounges and a private jacuzzi.
Interior design
When you have a billionaire boat that has had its interior designed by a professional designer, then you know it is going to be something very special! The interior has a very stylish Art-Deco theme finished in the finest Italian marble, with classy custom chandeliers and many highly polished mirrored surfaces to reflect the light.
There are plenty of plush sofas to relax back in with a cocktail from the custom cocktail bar in the sky lounge on the upper deck. There is a stunning onyx dining table in the main saloon as well as open-plan al fresco dining for more relaxed evenings under the stars.
Amenities
As you would expect from any self-respecting megayacht, the luxury boat has a helicopter pad, sauna and steam room, massage room and spa facilities. There is a jacuzzi for the guests to use, as well as plenty of water toys to keep your guests entertained.
Candy is happy to sell the vessel complete with all the artwork, furniture and water toys, which includes two jet-skis, three Seabobs, Seadoos, a custom 26-foot limo tender, a 20-foot Novurania RIB, paddleboards, surfboards, an inflatable slide and climbing wall and more!
High-performance engines
A lot of thought went into the opulent interior of the superyacht, but this doesn’t mean the engine house was neglected. The 11.11 billionaire boat is powered by twin 3512-C Caterpillar engines capable of powering the boat to a top speed of 16.5 knots. With a comfortable cruising speed of 14 knots, the 11.11 has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles.
As the 11.11 was delivered to Candy in 2015, the boat has had a five-year survey that cost €2 million ($2.3 million) which saw all of the interior fabrics replaced, including everything from the carpets to the lampshades. The teak decks have also all been redone and all the mechanical systems have had a major overhaul.
Sentimental attachment
The sale of the 11.11 comes with everything onboard except for one thing – the name! Nick Candy wants to hang on to the name and keep it for sentimental reasons. 11.11 is the date of his oldest daughter’s birthday, so he considers that to be one of his personal numbers that he wants to keep for himself.
What this means is that the new owner of the 11.11 will need to think up a new name to christen their new asset with. We think that this one of the most special billionaire boats on the market today and that it won’t be difficult for the new owners to dream up a suitable new name.
