Motor Yachts: There are luxury yachts, and then there are some luxurious motor yachts that are in a league of their own!

Being the mega-yacht fans that we are, we thought we would take a look at five of some of our most favourite luxurious superyachts currently sailing the seas. The main difference for us is that these five mega yachts are those that are longer than 78 feet and deliver very high-end prestige and luxury to their passengers.

In no particular order, our five motor yachts list contains famous names that you will recognise and many of the vessels come complete with a host of special features that may include everything from heliports and swimming pools to mini-subs and jet skis.

1: Dilbar

Currently owned by Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov, the Dilbar is holding the title of the largest yacht in the world by interior volume and gross tonnage. Built by Lurssen, Alisher Usmanov reportedly named the motor yacht after his mother.

Onboard you can find such luxurious delights as a sauna and spa room, a movie theatre, 82-foot indoor swimming pool, and underwater lights.

There is ample luxury accommodation for 40 pampered guests as well as cabins for up to 80 crew members that will attend to your every need.

2: Eclipse

Billionaire businessman and politician Roman Abramovich currently owns the Eclipse. He is also well-known of course for owning Chelsea Football Club. Built by Blohm+Voss of Hamburg, Germany, the 533 ft 2in long Eclipse is currently the fourth-longest yacht afloat.

The Eclipse has two helicopter pads, can accommodate up to 36 guests across 24 guest cabins, has space for 70 crew members, has two swimming pools, hot tubs, three launch boats and a mini-submarine.

3: Azzam

The Azzam currently holds the record as being the longest yacht in the world. Built in 2013 by Larsson, it is thought that the Azzam was built for and is owned by the royal family of Abu Dhabi.

With luxury accommodation for 36 guests and 60 crew, it was French designer Christophe Leoni that was commissioned to create the interior design.

4: Dubai

This amazing motor yacht was originally built by Platinum Yachts for Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei, however, the vessel is currently owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.

The Dubai is notable because it took ten long years to get the design exactly right to meet the very exacting needs of the Prince. It is now considered one of the most luxurious motor yachts in the world.

The mega-yacht has a mosaic-tiled swimming pool, Jacuzzi, squash court and dedicated disco room. The opulent dining room can hold up to 90 guests in great comfort, and so that all guests can be pampered and well looked after, the motor yacht has accommodation for 88 crew members.

5: Fulk Al Salamah

Currently, the world’s second-largest motor yacht, the Fulk Al Samanah was launched in 2016 and measures 164 metres in length. The vessel has a strong yet lightweight steel and aluminium superstructure, with the deck made from aluminium and teak.
